Visual Task Tips shows applications thumbnails when there are several applications running and the mouse pointer is placed on their refferences or icons at the task bar.
Nothing to do. Just downlod it, install it and its own icon stays on the system bar. Put the mouse pointer on any of the refferences or icons at the taskbar and this program will show a thumbnail of the corresponding program.
Settings: You can adjust the thumbnail to many sizes to be shown. From small to large, the displays adjusts itself once you have open the selected program. When the true program it is maxified, the new size adjust is applied to the thumbnail for the next time you put the mouse pointer on it.
It is also adjustable the time interval betwen your action (put mouse pointer on any tasktray refference or icon) and when the thumbnail is shown.
It can be adjusted from instant response (the thumbnail appears instantaneously, as soon as you place the mouse pointer on the program refference or icon at the tasktray), to one second delay that is inserted between the mouse pointer to be placed on the program icon at the tasktray and the appearence of the program window thumbnail.
Another setting that is available from the "Customize settings" of this program is the refreshing time to update the thumbnail whenever you placed the mouse pointer on the program icon at the tasktray once you have changed the real window to show in the actual program. The adjust may vary from Slow to Moderate to Fast. It is not recommended to set the refreshing update too fast, since it might affect to the normal system operation.
Advantages:
- Useful for showing the program windows when the taskbar is full of applications running icons or refferences.
Disadvantages:
- It gets a little "sticky" when your working from the taskbar.
